Gateway Hotel & Convention Center, Flint

I recently attended a family reunion at this hotel, and it was such a wonderful experience! The rooms were beautifully remodeled with designer furniture, and everything was clean and fresh. The staff was professional and accommodating, making our stay very enjoyable. The only downside was that some rooms had a slight odor when we first entered, but overall, it didn't take away from our time there. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to host an event or just enjoy a getaway.

My recent stay at this hotel was disappointing due to cleanliness and noise issues, despite some nice staff interactions. I found the rooms not up to standard, especially with the musty smells and unclean carpets. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when addressing my concerns, I had to leave early due to the overwhelming noise level from neighboring rooms. If cleanliness and quiet are important to you, I'd suggest exploring other options.
